About QUARRY
Quarry Theatre creates theatrical performance unlike any other seen in Baltimore. A project-driven nonprofit theatre company, Quarry Theatre productions are original, one-of-a-kind, and grounded in true events. We advance the arts and cultural landscape of our diverse communities by filling the void of original thought-provoking theatre in our city. Nominated for Best Devised Show two years in a row by local theatre awards, Quarry Theatre engages audiences with compelling storytelling that reflect contemporary social issues such as mental health, oppressive nationalism, and LGBTQAI+ visibility. Using first-person accounts, significant textual and data evidence, and originally composed live music, Quarry Theatre leans into humanity’s hard conversations and brings them to the stage to be cultivated, curated, and examined.
